How Non-TraceGains Customers Access Supplier Documents

When a supplier sets up a Non-TraceGains customer in TraceGains Gather®, that supplier will be asked to set up one or more contacts who will need to access the shared documents.

After a new customer has been created and document requirements have been set, related document requests that can be fulfilled will appear that can be fulfilled. The contact who was set up as this non-TraceGains customer will receive an email the next morning from Do_Not_Reply@tracegains.net with the subject New Supplier Documents Available. Clicking the link in that email will prompt the user to either login or input a password to quickly create a free account. Once logged in, the user will get to the TraceGains Gather® global portal page. Look for this image and click 'Download shared Documents' to access the documentation.

The contact will only receive one email notification per day when new documents have been added.

If multiple suppliers share documents with this user, they can access all documents from the same Document download site.

From the Document Download site, the user contact can use filters and search to navigate through documents shared from multiple companies.

Retrieving Shared Documents from TraceGains

Look for an email from Do_Not_Reply@tracegains.net with the subject New Supplier Documents Available. This email notification will be sent to you daily whenever new documentation has been added for you to review.

Click the link in the email to either set up a new password for your free account or login with your existing credentials.

Step 1: Once logged in, click on the Document Library

Step 2: Select the desired files to download.

Step 3: Click the Actions button

Step 4: Select the Download option from the dropdown. 

Navigate between documents shared by one or more suppliers using the keyword search and filters.
