What is the TraceGains Gather® Marketplace?

The TraceGains Gather® Marketplace is a robust sourcing tool for items, packaging, ingredients and suppliers across the food, beverage, and dietary supplement industries.  Powered by the TraceGains Gather® Network, manufacturers and brand owners can qualify new items or suppliers faster as well as accessing quality/regulatory documentation from an ever-growing document library. With a supplier network spanning the globe, buyers can rapidly cut time-to-market by leveraging powerful search criteria, sending direct requests, downloading key documents, and engaging in dynamic chats.

How does the TraceGains Gather­® Marketplace work?

Marketplace helps TraceGains customers source items and ingredients as well as determine which supplier(s) would be best to use through the completeness and accuracy of their compliance documentation, products, and physical manufacturing locations.

Getting started

Step 1: Go to Marketplace > Search.

Step 2: Type a search term into the search box.

Step 3: Use advanced filtering at the top and under “More” to target your results by category, location, number of documents available, features and more.

Step 4: On item listings, you can see which TraceGains standard documents have been completed and if they are available for download. Hover over each document abbreviation to see the full name.  

A = Allergens, COO = Country of Origin, IQ = Ingredient Questionnaire etc. Green indicates documents are available to download, orange indicates documents are available upon request and grey indicates that the document has not been uploaded into the TraceGains system. 

With a pro subscription, you can download a select number of documents each month. With an enterprise account, you have unlimited document downloads.

Step 5: Click on an item or a supplier name to see more information.

Step 6: In a supplier listing, you can use the tabs at the top to navigate between different content in their listing. 

Step 7: Search and filter within that supplier’s catalogue of items. View locations, available documents, and your team’s request history with that supplier.
