What are Marketplace Requests?

TraceGains Gather® makes it easy to request samples, documents, and information from suppliers across the Marketplace. Once a request is made, track that request to read updates or chat with the supplier.

Making Requests

Step 1: Navigate to Marketplace > Search. Make a search for an item, packaging, or supplier.

Step 2: Use the ‘Send Request’ button throughout Marketplace to initiate a request for a sample, document or information.

Step 3: Fill out the required fields.

Step 4: Click ‘Send Request.’

The request will live in the Request History tab for that supplier you contacted.

Tracking Requests

Navigate to Marketplace > Requests Sent.

Blue chat bubbles indicate unread comments. Click on the request subject to open a dynamic chat with the supplier around that request. Chats are open for 7 days and up to 5 documents can be loaded within each chat.

Unlock more requests for you and your team by upgrading to a Pro or Enterprise account.

Suppliers responding to Marketplace requests should use the Requests > Marketplace section under the Customer Management app to manage incoming requests.
