Viewing & Managing Intelligence Watchlists

What are Watchlists in TraceGains Gather®?

Watchlists in TraceGains Gather® are highly configurable data feeds that enable teams to:

  • Monitor risk related to ingredients and suppliers
  • Monitor new scientific research related to ingredients, claims, and R&D efforts.

Why use Watchlists?

TraceGains automatically associates global content from over 3,000 sources with the rich taxonomy of Ingredients, Suppliers, and Health Topics found in TraceGains Gather®. Simply add one or more Ingredient, Supplier, or Health Topic to a Watchlist to start receiving real-time related alerts.

Watchlists are also highly configurable to ensure that the feed is tailored to individualized supply chain and R&D focus areas. For highly customized content feeds, try adding a Watchlist to a Workspace. Any filters applied to a Watchlist in a Workspace will always persist until removed.

Watchlists in the Intelligence App vs. Watchlists in Workspaces

Watchlists may be used within the Intelligence App or within Workspaces.

There are two universal Watchlists: The Ingredients & Suppliers Watchlist and the Citations Watchlists.

  • The universal Watchlists within the Intelligence App are viewable to everyone within a company who has 'read only' or 'can edit' access to the Intelligence App.
  • When approving a match related to an ingredient or supplier using the TraceGains Gather® Matching Tool, the ingredient or supplier is added to the Ingredients & Suppliers Watchlist.

The universal Watchlists within the Intelligence App are great tools to monitor risk across a broad range of Ingredients and Suppliers in your supply chain or to monitor new scientific articles for a broad range of Ingredients and Health Topics. Create saved filters for your team within the filters drawer for a more tailored feed. For more customized Watchlists for specific focus areas or teams, consider creating a Watchlist within a Workspace.

Customized Watchlists may also be created within Workspaces (one per Workspace). Customized Watchlists may only be viewed by members of the Workspace. Watchlists in Workspaces have sticky filters.  Sticky filters stay on until removed or updated. If filters are applied to a Watchlist in a Workspace, users will only receive alerts or citations that match the filter set in that Watchlist.

Watchlists within Workspaces are great tools to create highly customized Watchlists focused on specific risk areas or team projects.
