Search for New Suppliers & Ingredients
Quickly locate and monitor suppliers or ingredients, add them to your watchlist or workspace, and receive notifications on any new alerts or risks.
Step 1: Log into TraceGains Gather®. Use the Search function to locate specific suppliers or ingredients. You can do this either before or alongside using the Matching Tool to monitor any suppliers or ingredients listed in your Enterprise site.
Step 2: View a list of alerts associated with the searched supplier or ingredient. For example, if you searched for "onions", you will see alerts related to any recent incidents or risks involving that ingredient.
Step 3: To begin monitoring the supplier/ingredient:
- In the Food section, find the correct match.
- Click the ellipsis (...) and select Add to Watchlist or Add to Workspace. You can create an Alerts Workspace in the Workspace section of TraceGains Gather®.
Step 4: To add to your Watchlist, select the radio button Add to Ingredients & Suppliers Watchlist. Click the Next button to proceed.
Step 5: If you want to receive notifications for any new alerts related to the supplier/ingredient, select Include Email Notifications in the pop-up. Click Save.
Step 6: After saving, navigate to Watchlists > View Watchlists to see alerts for all watched ingredients and suppliers.
Use the Watchlist
Filter and manage the alerts for ingredients and suppliers in your Watchlist. Save custom filter settings for future use.
Step 1: In your Watchlist, use the Filters option to narrow alerts to specific criteria.
Step 2: Fill out the appropriate fields. Choose Apply Filters for a one-time view or Save Filters to reuse the settings later.
Step 3: Enter a Filter Name and click Save. To load it in the future, go to Filter > Load Saved Filter.
Manage Alerts for Ingredients and Suppliers
Efficiently manage and update notification settings for the ingredients and suppliers you are monitoring, including turning off alerts and customizing notification preferences.
Step 1: Go to the Manage tab to update:
- Ingredients and Suppliers you are watching.
- Notification settings for each watched item.
Step 2: In the Watching section, choose Manage Ingredients or Manage Suppliers to make adjustments.
Step 3:
- Watching Alerts: you have the option to toggle off alerts if you want to stop viewing them
- Notify Me: uncheck this box if you no longer want to receive email notifications for new alerts.
Each user manages Notify Me settings individually.
Step 4: Under Manage Notifications, toggle on which Notification Types you would like to receive for each watched item marked with Notify Me.
