Overview
This article serves as a guide for how to use the Listing Analytics and Engagement pages to effectively measure your return on investment (ROI) with TraceGains Gather® Sales Hub.
What is the Listing Analytics Page?
The Listing Analytics page enables you to measure how many requests, views, and downloads your company is receiving on the TraceGains Gather® Marketplace. You can assess your catalog’s performance across all your listings or at the individual listing level. Directly assess the impact of your time and monetary investments into the platform, including:
- Achieving new Supplier badges (and the search boosts that comes with them)
- Completing your company and item listings
- Building out your Showcase categories and posts to distinguish your brand
- Purchasing paid marketing spots on the TraceGains Network

Dynamic Cards (Based on User Time Period Selection)
The Dynamic Cards give you the flexibility to view aggregate catalog analytics from a specified time frame:

- Last 180 Days
Within the time frame selected, you will be able to view the following analytics:

- Aggregate count of listing views
- Aggregate count of document downloads
- Aggregate count of Marketplace requests
Top Users and Leads by Engagement
Sales Hub automatically sorts your catalog’s top users and leads by engagement in the Top Users and Leads by Engagement section. You can elect to view top leads by request count or by document download count.
Top Listings by View Table
Measure and evaluate the popularity of your listings using the ‘Top Listings by View’ table. Here you can sort the table according to various listing engagement analytics to determine whether users on the Marketplace are engaging with your catalog listings and whether investments that you are making to improve listing relevancy and search placement are performing successfully. The table includes:
- Views, unique user and company views, downloads, and requests for each catalog listing
- The option to export the table for further analysis
What is the Engagement Page?
The Engagement page enables you to better understand the sources of your catalog users and new leads and to assess how your users and new leads are engaging with your catalog. Over time, this will help inform and continue to refine your sales pitch on the TraceGains Network. You can also use it to determine which of your documents are most valuable to your prospects and the methods by which they will most likely engage with your catalog.
Engagement Analytics
The Engagement page includes four core graphs to inform your understanding of how users and leads are engaging with your Marketplace catalog:
Total Catalog Users and Leads:
- Aggregate Count: The Total Catalog Users and Leads aggregate count displays the total numbers of users on the Marketplace who have either sent you a Marketplace request or have downloaded a document from one of your catalog listings
- Graph: The Total Catalog Users and Leads graph shows the increase in users engaging with your catalog that meet the above criteria over time
Marketplace Requests:
- The Marketplace Requests graph provides a breakdown of the types of requests your company is receiving from your Marketplace catalog
Document Downloads:
- The Document Downloads graph provides a breakdown of the types of documents users on the Marketplace are downloading from your catalog listings
User and Lead Cards
Each user/lead card includes detailed information related to each user/lead, including: the lead's name, contact information, job details, company information, and engagement metrics. These users/leads are the individuals on the Marketplace who have either sent you a Marketplace request or downloaded a document from one of your catalog listings.
If you are already connected with a user’s company on the TraceGains Network, that user will be visible to you and will not require the application of a lead credit to unlock. These users may be existing customers either searching your catalog for new ingredients or viewing information about ingredients they already source from you.
Any user on the TraceGains Network who sends you a Marketplace request will also be visible to you and will not require the application of a lead credit to unlock.
Click on a user/lead card to view the following engagement data:
- Interaction history w/ lead (Feed)
- Associated Marketplace requests
- Associated Marketplace document downloads
- Associated Marketplace listing views (for your catalog)
Please note that some Marketplace users/leads on the TraceGains Network may choose to browse the Marketplace privately. User-level contact information will not be available for these “Private Browsers”. You may still view company-level information as well as engagement data.
Lead Credits
As stated above, TraceGains will not require the use of lead credits for leads that are associated with companies that you are connected to on the TraceGains Network. Additionally, TraceGains will not require the use of lead credits for leads that have sent you at least one Marketplace request. These leads may still be valuable to understand potential areas of interest for new sales into existing business relationships.
Leads that are not associated with companies you are connected to on the TraceGains Network or that have not sent you a Marketplace request will require the use of a lead credit to unlock information related to the lead. You can purchase packs of 5 leads credits on the TraceGains Gather® pricing page.
