What are Showcase Posts in the TraceGains Gather® Marketplace?
Showcase is a feature designed to give brands the opportunity to stand out on the TraceGains Gather® Marketplace. This feature allows sellers to keep the TraceGains Network informed about their latest news, whether it's a recent innovation, a tempting offer, or a testament to their commitment to their community. In this article, we break down how to make the most of this feature.
What is included in a Showcase Post?
Showcase Posts are the first opportunity for brands like yours to speak directly to the Network on the Marketplace.
When you begin, the showcase post section will be in its ‘zero state’ – represented by an empty image square and text rectangle.
Each Showcase Post may include the following content:
- Banner image (required)
- Post title (required)
- Post category
- Description content
- Attachments (e.g., pdfs, additional images, etc.)
Once you have created and posted a Showcase post, it will provide you with crucial analytics, including:
- # Views: This shows the total aggregate count of post views by buyers in the marketplace.
- # Requests: Reflects the number of requests sent by buyers, derived from the post’s card or post page.
Your Showcase Posts will rank higher in viewing order on the landing page of Marketplace if your company has attained TraceGains Marketplace supplier badges:
- Responds Quickly
- Documents up-to-date
- Supplier Champion
How to Create a Showcase Post
The following steps begin with selecting “Add Showcase Post” within the Showcase page of Sales Hub.
Step 1: Add a Title – This is mandatory.
Pro Tip: Give your post a compelling title that grabs attention.
Step 2: Add a Category – This is also mandatory. Select an appropriate category from the dropdown. Options include:
- Press release
- Product/services catalog
- Discounts & promotions
- White paper
- Information sheet
- Certification
- Other
Step 3: Text Area – While this is optional, this is your opportunity to promote your brand to the TraceGains Network. The platform offers rich formatting tools, including:
- Choose font styles and sizes
- Add bold, italics, underline, and etc.
- Modify text and background colors.
- Add lists or links
- Insert images
Step 4: Cover Image – Choose a visually appealing image that represents the essence of your post.
Step 5: Attachments – Add any additional files or documents that supplement your post.
Step 6: Finalize – Select 'Create New' to make your post visible to buyers in the Marketplace. If you wish to exit without saving, click 'Close’.
